Working with flowers is definitely one of my big loves.

Each year I get great joy from choosing my ‘trends’, browsing through the seed catalogues, hastily waiting for the little packets of future prospects to arrive. I'll lovingly sow the seed and will always be amazed at the first inklings of germination, nurturing them through to full-growth and final bloom. The ‘grande finale' is cutting them and creating a mini-stage set in a vase - seeing how one flower works with or against another; how the form of one is echoed in the structure. And then there’s the colour! And the back drop…
